Quem nunca sonhou em ter sua própria casa na árvore? Muitos quiseram, poucos realizaram. Luciano Pia levou o sonho a sério depois de adulto ao construir o edifício 25 Verde, feito para fugir do cenário urbano e da poluição de Turim (onde foi construído).
O prédio conta com 150 árvores que são capazes de absorver cerca de 200 mil litros de dióxido de carbono por hora, além de não permitir que as impurezas entrem, cria uma camada capaz de manter o ambiente mais silencioso. As árvores ainda são responsáveis pela criação de um microclima próprio na região, que mantém a temperatura estável durante todo o ano, evitando temperaturas extremas.
Ramas de uma grande árvore que sustentam os cinco andares de apartamentos, se encontram na fachada da construção, como grande jardim vertical. Resultando num visual cheio de estilo, ecológico e funcional.

Sem a necessidade de muito espaço, os arquitetos dos estúdios Foundry Architects e Boneyard conseguiram conciliar valor estético e conforto a sustentabilidade. Em um “caixote” de 3m x 6m, os projetistas conseguiram encontrar soluções para tornar um espaço muito pequeno em um ambiente confortável para duas pessoas viverem. O resultado foi uma micro casa com design inteligente e bonito que não abre mão do baixo custo e da eficiência.
A Minim House procura reinventar o modelo de moradia e propor uma otimização de todos os espaços de um ambiente. Através de um projeto de loft quase sem paredes foi possível reunir tudo o que um casal ou mesmo um solteiro precisa para viver com conforto. Nos 64 metros quadrados de espaço construído, foram incluídas uma sala, escritório, cozinha e banheiro, além de uma cama de casal e uma mesa de jantar retráteis para uso apenas quando necessário.
Construída com peças pré-fabricadas, a casa levou pouco tempo para ser montada, além de gerar poucos resíduos com a obra, já que a montagem é feita por peças sob medida. O ambiente interno é isolado acusticamente e iluminado na maior parte do dia de forma natural. As janelas e portas são transparentes para aproveitar a luz do sol e reduzir o consumo energético. Além disso, como forma de deixar a casa ainda mais eficiente, foram instalados painéis solares com capacidade de 960 watts e um sistema de captação de água da chuva de 290 litros com tratamento de água incorporado.
Além do design flexível e os sistemas de aproveitamento de água e geração de energia limpa, a Minim House apresenta outra novidade. Suas peças são destacáveis fazendo com que a casa possa ser desmontada e montada novamente em um outro local.

Os containers são a bola da vez no que diz respeito a arquitetura e design na hora de construir novos espaços. A ideia sustentável, pois reduz o impacto ambiental, está dando as caras no Brasil, que agora é sede do maior hostel em containers marítimos do mundo. O Tetris Hostel, em Foz do Iguaçu, foi concebido de forma funcional e criativa, com estrutura formada por 15 containers em mais de mil metros quadrados.
Com capacidade total para 70 pessoas, os quartos são privativos ou compartilhados, cozinha compartilhada, lounge, piscina, varanda, jardim interno, bar e estacionamento gratuito. Além disso, tem como ponto alto um deck e dois amplos terraços, ideais para ver o pôr do sol.
Entre os recursos sustentáveis, baseados na proposta dos 3R’s – reduzir, reutilizar, reciclar – existe a captação da água da chuva, reutilizada nas descargas dos banheiros e todo efluente gerado nas pias, chuveiros e sanitários do hostel é tratado no local por um sistema eco-friendly chamado zona de raízes, onde as plantas fazem a filtragem da água que, na sequência, é utilizada para regar os jardins.
O telhado verde reduz a temperatura interna, enquanto a piscina é aquecida por um sistema de aquecimento solar. A decoração descolada e colorida torna o ambiente ainda mais agradável.

Em Victoria, interior da Austrália, o escritório de arquitetura Branch Studio Architects ergueu um refúgio à beira do lago. Esta pequena cabana de madeira conta com uma cobertura assimétrica revestida por painéis de ferro pigmentados, que se estendem para também recobrir as fachadas leste e oeste.
A Pump House surgiu, a princípio, para acomodar uma bomba de água e algumas ferramentas da fazenda. A pequena cabana acabou por se tornar um refúgio para lazer e descanso. As demais faces da residência são formadas por amplas portas de vidro corrediças. Em resposta ao contexto ambiental, o escritório local Branch Studio Architects implementou sistemas de aquecimento a lenha, placas fotovoltaicas e tanques para a coleta e reciclagem de águas pluviais, tornando a morada totalmente autossuficiente.

O estilista Tommy Hilfiger é daqueles que representam o estilo american way of life da sua maneira mais pura, seja através de suas roupas ou de suas casas. Enquanto seu apartamento oficial em Nova York é mais sofisticado, a sua residência em Miami é totalmente diferente virando praticamente uma ode ao pop art.
O Pop Art nada mais é do que um movimento artístico que surgiu nos Estados Unidos trazendo cor e alegria para a arte, decoração, músicas e roupas. Era uma arte popular, que atendia a todos e vivia um momento de crise criativa por isso copiava imagens e reutilizava fotografias. Na arquitetura as cores da pop art invadiram as casas e ruas e transformaram os espaços antes sóbrios em lúdicos.
Este estilo aparece tanto compondo um espaço completo como apenas como um detalhe na decoração tradicional. Os elementos de repetição surgem na decoração como referência, as cores transformam o espaço e as figuras famosas tornam o ambiente bem divertido.

O arquiteto Kunie Adeyemi, da NLE, encontrou uma ótima solução para lidar com o problema de frequentes inundações na região de Makoko, na Nigéria. Ele projetou escolas sustentáveis e flutuantes que conseguem abrigar até 100 crianças cada uma e que funcionam independentemente de fenômenos naturais.
A estrutura é construída sobre uma base de 32 metros quadrados e possui 3 andares, 10 metros de altura. A base flutua através de 256 tambores reaproveitados. Além disso, a construção e feita totalmente em madeira em madeira reutilizada.
A escola conta com playground, área de lazer, salas de aula e espaços para aula ao ar livre. Para que seja necessário depender de luz e água que estão disponíveis em terra, Kunie adotou a implementação de painéis solares e um sistema para captar a água da chuva, que é filtrada e usada nos banheiros. Os painéis solares proporcionam eletricidade, enquanto a colheita de águas pluviais facilita o uso dos inodoros de compostagem, instalado como uma solução para o sistema de esgoto inexistente.
Através da escola flutuante, as crianças da região não ficam sem aulas mesmo em períodos de alagamento, podendo chegar até o local usando barcos. Com foco na sustentabilidade, as escolas flutuantes pensadas por Kunie Adeyemi custam menos do que aquelas construídas em terra firme. Os arquitetos do NLÉ esperam que o projeto da escola Makoko seja um protótipo para melhorar a arquitetura e o urbanismo das cidades costeiras da África e assim criar casas, centros comunitários e playgrounds flutuantes.

Já pensou em um restaurante que consegue aliar boa comida, beleza arquitetônica e também uma bela paisagem submarina? O Restaurante Submarino, situado em Valência na Espanha, consegue unir tudo isso e ainda proporcionar ao seus clientes uma experiência única.
O Restaurante está localizado dentro do Parque Oceanográfico de Valência e fica aberto o ano inteiro. Os pratos são da culinária mediterrânea, mas com toques autorais de cozinha fusion, uma mistura entre ingredientes locais, diferentes técnicas de preparo e hábitos culturais distintos. A arquitetura do edifício chama a atenção pelas belezas exteriores, como o teto ondulado projetado pelo arquiteto Félix Candela, mas é realmente o interior que chama a atenção de todos. Ao entrar, nota-se a predominância de referências ao fundo do mar, como as enormes luminárias que imitam águas-vivas e ocupam quase todo o salão central. Porém, o melhor do restaurante se percebe ao ir em direção às mesas, situadas no andar a baixo do hall de entrada.
O restaurante é circundado por um grande aquário em todo seu perímetro e devido a isso se pode obter uma experiência fantástica de comer no fundo do mar, tendo como cenário o contraste entre o azul da água e o prateado dos peixes. As paredes de vidros ao lado das mesas dão realmente a sensação de que se está compartilhando o espaço com os peixes. A experiência de um ambiente totalmente diferente do tradicional é fantástica até mesmo para quem não tem preferência por peixes ou frutos do mar. É uma experiência gastronômica inesquecível.
